⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drug fueled fantasy fun at 100MPH! Highly readable!

So where do i begin with this twisted Scary Tale? Well, after reading up to chapter 11 in 2 sittings, this book would not let me sleep and i had to read through to the end in one final session, just to see where the plot was going to swing to next.
The characters, and there are a good few of them, all bizarrely named, with their own unique "gifts", develop nicely as the road trip to hell unfolds at a smart pace.
Obviously Morat has a deep knowledge of the bike culture, as well as other alternative "recreational activities", and all are on glorious display throughout his rip roaring tale.
I don't want to give away too much of the plot so i'm just going say that there are twists and turns throughout, sometimes taking overly long to develop, teasing for seemingly endless pages, only to reveal, all too briefly the sweet spot it was leading up to. A little like a battle scene in a movie , where you are wishing the melee could last a damn sight longer . Maybe that is me just being greedy, wanting to swill the poison around my mind a little longer than others but oh so enjoyable when it hits the back of your throat.
This tale would easily lend itself to a movie adaptation, coming on like Fear and Loathing meets Easy Rider with a good liberal dose of Lord Of The Rings, but WAAAYY more twisted.
If you are offended at exquisitely offered, explicit language, constant drug abuse, nasty characters that you warm to and end up thinking of as heroes, bike gang culture and punk rock, this is definitely not the book for you. If, on the other hand, you wish you could be an invisible, Faery screwing, drug munching bad ass son of a bitch, step on in, this will absolutely float your boat.
